YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia had a telephone conversation with President Emmanuel Macron of France, the Prime Minister's Office informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

The Prime Minister presented details about the situation created as a result of the military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan against the sovereign territory of Armenia. Pashinyan noted that despite the relative tranquility at the border, the situation remains very tense.

Macron reaffirmed his willingness to promote dialogue and peace.

The interlocutors reflected also on the discussions regarding Armenia's petition to the UN Security Council. Prime Minister Pashinyan emphasized the importance of an appropriate reaction by the international community to what is happening.
