Peskov: Putin, Pashinyan had phone talk late at night

Russian President Vladimir Putin and Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had a telephone conversation late at night, Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the Russian President, told RIA Novosti.

"Indeed, there was a telephone conversation late at night," said Peskov.

And the press service of the Russian government reports that Putin and Pashinyan discussed—over the phone—the current situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border.

Putin is now in Samarkand, Uzbekistan, where the Shanghai Cooperation Organization summit is being held on Friday. And the meetings of the Russian leader with the president of Turkey, the prime minister of India, and the president of Azerbaijan are also scheduled for this day.
