Greek Foreign Minister Nikos Dendias expressed concern over the continuing deterioration of relations with Turkey, Kathimerini reports.

According to him, the Turkish leadership "has made a choice that leaves no room for negotiations. This choice leads Turkey down a "dangerous path" and drives it into a corner. "This is a cause for concern," Dendias said, adding that the fact that both Greece and Turkey are approaching elections in 2023 is "not a good" sign.

On the positive side, Turkey's escalation against Greece has also generated "a constant level of international reaction," Dendias said, noting in particular the recent defense agreements Greece has signed with its allies.
