Azerbaijan's most recent military aggression against Armenia is also aggression against Armenian democracy. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated about this at Friday’s Cabinet meeting of the government of Armenia.

He said that despite all these attacks, Armenia will continue the processes of democratic reforms, including economic ones.

"We should pay a lot of attention to the reforms of the army," said the premier.

Pashinyan stated that the current situation in no way belittles the importance of the peace agenda, and, on the contrary, it emphasizes it even more.

"The national interest of Armenia should become the main guideline for decision-making, and we should be guided by this logic. We have noted three priorities on which we should focus and work. The first is peace, the second is education, the third—the reform of the armed forces. It is these three priorities that should ensure the security and real development of our country, which in the long term should resolve the issue of Armenia's longevity," said the PM.
