Russian border guards have informed the advance team of the CSTO mission in Armenia about the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border, Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, head of the CSTO Joint Staff, said.

"We have received a vision of the situation and operational information about what is happening from our border guards, who are on duty including on the border and are involved in protecting certain sections of the state border of Armenia," he said after a working meeting with Roman Golubitsky, head of the Border Department of the Russian Federal Security Service in Armenia.
