The conflict between Armenia and Azerbaijan has been localized under Russia's influence, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during an interaction with the press on the sidelines of the SCO summit in Samarkand, RIA Novosti reported.

"Russia's influence helped to localize the conflict and I hope it will continue. Here's a question about resources, there are enough of them so far, thank God," Putin said in response to a question about whether Russia, under conditions of special operations in Ukraine, has enough resources to influence neighboring countries to achieve peace.
