More than a dozen Armenian servicemen have been captured as a result of Azerbaijan's recent attack on Armenia. Hasmik Samvelyan, the press secretary of Armenia's representation at the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR), told Armenian News-NEWS.am about this.

"The [respective] ‘picture’ is still deceptive, it may be changed, work is constantly being done, changes are taking place. At the moment, we can inform about only one identified [Armenian] detainee; the information about his capture was confirmed back on September 13," Samvelyan said.

As reported earlier, the ECHR has issued a request to Azerbaijan regarding the videos of Armenian captives—regarding one detainee identified as of Tuesday and the remaining unidentified captives appearing in these videos—, and gave a respective deadline of September 22.
