The schools in Armenia’s Gegharkunik, Vayots Dzor, and Syunik Provinces, which had stopped their education process due to Azerbaijan's recent military aggression, will resume work starting Monday. Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports Zhanna Andreasyan told about this to a press conference on Monday.

She explained that regular classes will resume in those schools where there are no security concerns, whereas remote learning will be carried in some schools where there are such concerns.

"Remote learning classes will be held in 12 schools in Gegharkunik Province. It is mainly about the schools in Vardenis town.

In three schools of the city of Jermuk, Vayots Dzor Province, teaching will be organized remotely, in the others—in the usual way.

In Syunik Province, only five schools—mainly in Kajaran [town] and one school in Kapan [city]—teaching will resume in the usual way; that is, the current teaching," the deputy minister emphasized.

According to her, additional decisions in this regard will be made every day—and based on the situation.
