Vahram Dumanyan, the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Armenia, sent an official letter to UNESCO Director General Audrey Azoulay, presenting information on the large-scale military aggression unleashed by Azerbaijan on the sovereign territory of Armenia on September 13 and its consequences.
The letter stated, in particular, that not only military positions, but also civilian infrastructures were targeted by the Azerbaijani armed forces during this aggression, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports informs Armenian News-NEWS.am
The letter added that as a result of this military aggression, the educational process in numerous public and preschools in Armenia was interrupted due to security concerns for schoolchildren and employees.
Also in the letter, Dumanyan asked Azoulay to react to the major risk caused by this Azerbaijani military aggression and to condemn Azerbaijan's such hostile actions.
