The employees of the Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources visited Jermuk community in Vayots Dzor region on Monday-Tuesday.

The Inspectorate for Nature Protection and Mineral Resources together with the representatives of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations, "ArmForest" SNCO and the local self government inspected the woodlands burnt as a result of artillery shelling in the administrative territory of Jermuk during the aggression unleashed by the Azerbaijani armed forces against Armenia, NEWS.am learnt. An area of around 7 hectares was examined.

The damage caused to nature is currently being calculated. All materials will be submitted to law enforcement bodies.
