Azerbaijani armed forces opened fire in the direction of Nerkin Hand positions in Armenia's Syunik province this evening, Nerkin Hand community head Khachik Baghdasaryan told NEWS.am.

"They were shooting for 10-15 minutes. At the moment, everything is calm," he said.

The Ministry of Defense reported that Azerbaijani Armed Forces units violated the ceasefire on September 20 with certain regularity, using small arms in the eastern direction of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border. As of 22:30, the situation on the border was stable and there was no shooting.
