The Russian ruble, which traded in a sideways range in the morning, moved to a decline in Moscow Exchange trading.
The U.S. dollar stood at RUB 62.61, up RUB 2.01 from the previous close of trading. One Euro was RUR 61.95, having risen by RUR 1.35. The value of the dual-currency basket ($0.55 and EUR0.45) has increased by RUB 1.71 by that time - up to RUB 62.31.
