Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev made another aggressive statement against Armenia.

According to Azerbaijani media reports, while in Lachin, Aliyev "warned Armenia not to resort to provocations, otherwise Azerbaijan will give a decent response.

"Today Armenia should think hard. No one can talk to us with ultimatums, and let no one rely on anyone. Once again I want to say, nobody and nothing can stop us. We are supporters of law, justice, international law, we defend, we have defended and we have restored our territorial integrity. We showed the whole world what we are capable of, we liberated our land by force and we are proud of it," Aliyev said. The Azerbaijani President noted that "Armenia does not want peace and has revanchist feelings." He complained that official Yerevan has been delaying the process of border delimitation for almost a year, and now it is just formal and there are no significant discussions on the maps.

Aliyev said that the Azerbaijani side has prepared maps of the twentieth century and the previous period, and the delimitation of the border should be carried out on their basis. "If Armenia wants to accuse us of invading their territory, it has no basis. First of all, if the borders were where they say they are, border engineering works would have been done. They thought that all of Karabakh and Zangezur would be left to them. That's why they didn't do anything on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border," the Azerbaijani president said.
