Iran, Russia and China are planning to hold joint naval exercises this fall, Mohammad Bagheri, chief of the General Staff of the Iranian Armed Forces, said this on Thursday during a press conference at the Iranian Armed Forces parade.

Exercises involving the navies of Iran, Russia and China will take place in the northern part of the Indian Ocean this fall, Bagheri noted.

Pakistan, Oman and a number of other countries are also likely to take part in these events, Mehr News Agency reported referring to Bagheri.
