CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas, who is in Armenia and heads the CSTO mission, met with the Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Armenia, Edward Asryan, CSTO Press Secretary Vladimir Zaynetdinov informed.

"There was a thorough discussion about the situation in some border regions of the Republic of Armenia. The matter of taking future possible measures by the organization in the current situation was discussed," the respective statement notes.

CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas is in Armenia, leading the CSTO mission, in accordance with the decision of the special session of the CSTO Collective Security Council on September 13. The mission consists of CSTO member countries’ representatives who are employees of the working agencies of this organization.
