At Thursday’s Cabinet session, the government of Armenia made a decision due to the need to ensure the continuity of monetary support to the families of the civilians who are missing as well as those captured as a result of the 44-day Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war in the fall of 2020.

According to the explanation of this decision, the application to receive this monetary assistance—in the amount of 300,000 drams (approx. $718) per person per month—had to be submitted online by no later than September 5.

However, there are still missing Armenian civilians whose families need continued support.

Accordingly, it is proposed to adopt a decision by which the families of the missing civilians, as well as of the captured, will receive monetary support for another month in the amount of 300,000 drams per month, for which they can submit an application until October 5.
