Iran has demonstrated its new long-range ballistic missiles Kheybar-Shekan and Rezvan for the first time, Mehr reported.
During a military parade, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) unveiled a new long-range, high-precision ballistic missile dubbed the Heibarshekan. The missile can hit targets up to 1,450 kilometers away with high accuracy.
The Iranian Armed Forces also unveiled for the first time the Rezvan surface-to-surface ballistic missile. It is a one-stage missile with a separable warhead and a range of up to 1400 kilometers. It can be launched from a variety of fixed and mobile platforms.
During the military parade, the Iranian Armed Forces also unveiled a number of other domestic drones, ballistic missile systems, long-range radar systems and advances in air defense.
The IRGC Air Force also unveiled a sample of its Sevvom-e Khordad medium-range road-mobile surface-to-air missile system for the first time.
The Sevom Khordad SAM system is capable of countering various types of aerial targets, including helicopters, fighters, drones and cruise missiles.
