Vice-President of the European Commission, EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell announced new military support for Ukraine from the EU, he wrote on Twitter.

"Deeply shocked by Russia’s attacks on civilians in Kyiv and other cities in Ukraine. Such acts have no place in 21st century. I condemn them in the strongest possible terms," Borrell noted.

The head of European diplomacy stressed that the EU is with Ukraine: "We stand with Ukraine. Additional military support from the EU is on its way."
