The Uzbek embassy in Kyiv is asking citizens of the republic to leave Ukraine and refrain from traveling to that country after Russian missile strikes on its infrastructure.

In light of the aggravation of the situation on the fronts, as well as the high probability of continued missile and artillery strikes throughout Ukraine, we ask our compatriots to leave the country for personal safety, the embassy said in a message on its website.

The embassy noted that in connection with the appeals of the citizens of Uzbekistan concerning the security of entering and staying on the territory of Ukraine amid the intensification of the Russian missile attacks the embassy repeatedly calls on the compatriots to refrain from travelling to Ukraine until the conflict is settled.
