Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said that the West must conduct a dialogue with Russia, because without it it is impossible to reach agreements on a cease-fire in Ukraine, TVnet reported.
"Without dialogue with Moscow it is impossible to reach a cease-fire. Who will have to talk to in the end, who will have to negotiate with whom? We are talking about the territories of Ukraine, about the opposite side of the conflict," the Turkish Foreign Minister said.
The FM also noted that Turkey does not join the unilateral sanctions against Russia and does not agree with them.
"This concerns both Russia and Iran. This is our position," the Turkish diplomat added.
According to Cavusoglu, the breakup of the West's relations with Russia "will inevitably affect everyone."
