In the framework of the state visit of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to Kyrgyzstan an agreement was signed on the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Azerbaijani Development Fund.

The Fund was established to promote economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan, the modernization and development of the economy, the effective use of opportunities.  The authorized capital of the joint bilateral investment fund between Kyrgyzstan and Azerbaijan - $25 million. The headquarters will be located in Bishkek.

A number of documents were also signed at the end of the meeting of the two presidents.
