The price of gold is declining Wednesday morning, sitting at $1,675 a troy ounce, trading data showed.
The price of December gold futures on the New York Comex Exchange was down $10.6, or 0.63%, to $1,675.4 a troy ounce. December silver futures were down 1.65% to $19.15 an ounce.
Investors are waiting for the publication of important data from the U.S., including the Fed report, which will be published later on Wednesday. Markets hope to find clues in it on further policy from the regulator, which may raise its key rate for a sixth straight month next month to fight inflation.
