The truck that blew up on the Crimean Bridge last week did not pass through Georgian customs checkpoint, Georgia's deputy finance minister said.

"Some accusations are being made, for which there are no grounds. No vehicle loaded with TNT or other explosives has crossed the [Georgian] customs border. If someone claims that it crossed the [Georgian] state border, an investigation will be launched and the guilty will be held accountable. That truck did not pass through the [Georgian] customs checkpoint," Giorgi Kakauridze said.

The Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) had announced that, together with the Russian Investigative Committee, it was found out that the plotters of the aforesaid explosion on the Crimean Bridge were Kyrylo Budanov, the Chief of the Defense Intelligence Department of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, and employees and agents.

As per the FSB, the explosive device for the explosion was sent from the port of Odessa in early August. It was covered with rolls of construction polyethylene film with 22 wooden platforms, and with a total weight of 22,770 kg. From there, the cargo was transferred to the port of Rusa in Bulgaria, from there—to the port of Poti in Georgia, and finally—to Armenia. Ukrainian citizens Mykhaylo Tsyurkalo (born in 1975), Denis Kovach (born in 1979) and Roman Solomko (born in 1971), as well as Georgian nationals Sandro Inosaridze and a broker named Levan participated in the organization of this route. And they were assisted by Armenian citizen Artur Terjanyan (born in 1975).
