French President Emmanuel Macron said that Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko will have problems if he actively participates in the conflict in Ukraine.

In an interview with France 2 TV channel, Macron said if President Lukashenko decides to devote himself even more to the Ukrainian conflict, he must take responsibility.

The French president recalled that the EU had already imposed sanctions against Belarus after the country had allowed Russian military to be stationed on its territory for deployment to Ukraine.
