Ukraine has only 10 percent of its need for air defenses.

This was stated by President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, answering questions of those present at the session of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe via video link, the UNIAN news agency reports.

"We have our own air defense. However, it is not enough. We are fighting against a big country in terms of territory and a big country in terms of equipment and missiles," he said.

According to him, Ukraine wants to be able to close the sky. At the same time, he recalled that Germany has provided Ukraine with the first air defense system, and the U.S. confirmed its support in this direction. "We really want this support to be many times more. We expect from France and Italy also powerful steps, where they would help us. We have 10 percent of what we need," Zelenskyy said.
