Russian President Vladimir Putin invited Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev to hold a meeting in Russia.

"I am happy to invite both the President of Azerbaijan and the Prime Minister of Armenia. We can arrange a date with you. I hope there is interest. We can hold a meeting anywhere in Russia: Sochi, Saint Petersburg, Moscow," the Russian president noted in his remarks on the margins of the CIS summit in the Kazakh capital Astana—and addressing Pashinyan and Aliyev.

Also, Putin recalled that the leaders of the three countries have held many meetings in a trilateral format, and that it would not be bad to meet again—taking into account the current realities.
