The president of Turkey stated that he does not see any problems regarding the creation of the "Zangezur corridor" through the territory of Armenia. Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated this when asked whether the "Zangezur corridor" matter was discussed during his meeting with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan within the framework of the European Political Community summit in Prague.
According to Erdogan, a narrow meeting took place in Prague.
"Pashinyan, as well as [Azerbaijani President] Ilham Aliyev, and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orban were in that narrow circle. After that, of course, we had a meeting of delegations and, of course, we discussed these matters. But I don't see any problem regarding the Zangazur [(Zangezur)] corridor matter," the Turkish president said.
