Swiss MP Stefan Müller-Altermatt doesn't rule out possibility of applying sanctions against Azerbaijan.

During his remarks at a press conference in Yerevan on Friday, he noted that all the sanctions that were applied in other conflicts, for example, in the case of Russia and Ukraine, should be applied against Azerbaijan as well.

"This is unconditional. It cannot be so that the aggressor remains without any sanctions. I believe that we should do the following: all aggressors should be treated equally. Switzerland has many securities of Azerbaijan, and we must express our position very clearly. We have to do everything so that they understand that Switzerland is not just a safe and secure place where they can keep their money and then they can buy weapons and wage war against Armenia. This is what we must do," the MP noted.
