On October 17, Foreign Ministers of the 27 member states of the European Union intend to approve the sending of a civil mission for solving border problems between Armenia and Azerbaijan, a high-ranking EU official said before the meeting of foreign ministers in Luxembourg.

The leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, France and the head of the Council of Europe agreed to set up a civilian mission during the Oct. 6 meeting, the Sputnik Armenia website reported.

The ministers were expected to approve the mission on Monday, the senior EU official said.
