YEREVAN. – Hraparak daily of the Republic of Armenia (RA) writes: The Artsakh [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] delegation, which rushed to Armenia after the Prague agreements, has been meeting with high-ranking RA officials in recent days.

(…) Armenia’s officials have deceived the guests of Artsakh with promises that signing a peace treaty [with Azerbaijan] does not mean handing over Artsakh to Azerbaijan, that as if Armenia will do everything for Baku-Stepanakert negotiations to take place, and the attention of the international community will be drawn to the matter of protecting the right to self-determination of the people of Artsakh.

We were told that SCS [Security Council secretary] Armen Grigoryan advised his compatriots [from Artsakh] that, regardless of the RA officials' statements, they should consistently repeat the view that they do not agree, and no one, including the RA authorities, can recognize Artsakh as part of Azerbaijan.

They mutually agreed not to leak the details of the closed meeting, as the interests of Artsakh demand it.
