Pakistan's Foreign Ministry has summoned the U.S. ambassador to the carpet after U.S. President Joe Biden's statements. Biden said the day before that Pakistan was probably one of the most dangerous countries in the world because it had nuclear weapons without any cohesion, Reuters reported.

Pakistani Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari said he was surprised by Biden's comments and the misunderstanding was due to a lack of engagement. Bhutto-Zardari said he did not think the decision to summon the U.S. ambassador would negatively affect relations with Washington.
