A powerful fire engulfed several floors of a skyscraper in the Asian part of Istanbul, NTV reported.
The incident occurred in the Fikirtepe neighborhood. The fire began on the lower floors of a 24-story building and gradually spread to the upper floors. Firefighters from four districts of the city arrived on the scene.
Residents of the house and several neighboring buildings were evacuated, the channel reported. The fire was extinguished.
