Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian called the presence of foreign forces in the Caucasus a common concern of regional states and stressed Iran's opposition to the deployment of any foreign forces in the region, IRNA reported.

In a telephone conversation with his Azerbaijani counterpart Jeyhun Bayramov, Abdollahian addressed the most important bilateral, regional and international issues.

Referring to recent developments in the Caucasus, he noted support for the sovereignty and territorial integrity of other countries, including Azerbaijan and Armenia, and called it Iran's constant policy.
