Will Wilkerson, one of the co-founders of former U.S. President Donald Trump's Truth Social social network, claims that the former White House leader pressured other co-owners of the company to give their shares to his wife, Melania. The Washington Post reported Saturday that Wilkerson also filed a complaint with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission regarding violations of securities laws by Trump Media & Technology Group (TMTG), which owns the social network.

Wilkerson filed the complaint back in August, and after he spoke to the newspaper about the situation, he was fired from his position as first deputy chairman of TMTG. The company based the decision on the fact that he had disclosed confidential information without permission.

Wilkerson claims he personally witnessed a phone talk in which the former president demanded that another TMTG co-founder, Andy Litinsky, give his stake to Melania Trump.

Litinsky, according to Wilkerson's version, did not want to do so, whereupon Trump decided to retaliate against him and threatened to destroy the company if his demands were not met. Litinsky was later removed from the board of directors. As the newspaper notes, it is not known if he retained his share of the stock.
