Ukrainian troops have changed their plan to seize the Zaporizhzhya NPP, Vladimir Rogov, a member of the main council of the Zaporizhzhya regional administration, said, RIA Novosti reports.

According to him, the Ukrainian Armed Forces chose a new place to force the Dnieper, namely through the western part of the Kakhovka reservoir, while previously they tried to attack from the north - from the direction of Nikopol, Marganets and Belenka.

Now, having realized the futility of their attempts, they have changed their plan and are concentrating forces in the western, northwestern and southwestern part of the reservoir down the Dnieper, Rogov explained.

He added that the AFU is accumulating forces and equipment near the villages of Zolotaya Balka, Osokorivka and Pokrovske.
