The Uzbek authorities have approved rules of conduct for civil servants, according to which they are forbidden to use foul language in social networks, Repost.uz reported, citing a government decree.
Officials are also forbidden to spend other people's money during business trips, post on social networks materials that evoke mistrust in the reforms undertaken by the authorities, and use the official car for personal use. In addition, "a civil servant must be honest, modest, not subject to public criticism, and when criticized must not be harassed." Disciplinary action, a warning, or a reprimand may be imposed as punishment for violating the rules.
