YEREVAN. – Past daily of Armenia writes: Artsakh's [(Nagorno-Karabakh)] political leadership, led by President Arayik Harutyunyan, was in Yerevan last week. They were trying to meet with [PM] Nikol Pashinyan for a long time, and that meeting took place after several days of waiting.
According to the information of Past newspaper, the people of Artsakh have reacted very badly to that visit because many people have the impression that Harutyunyan makes such visits just to woo and butter up to Pashinyan once again.
The thing is that, according to our information, it is obvious to everyone in Artsakh that Pashinyan is handing over Artsakh [to Azerbaijan], but Harutyunyan, it seems, is in no hurry to take any steps. Moreover, according to our source, during every meeting with Nikol Pashinyan, Harutyunyan tries to ensure artificial positive impulses.
According to the information of the newspaper, the Artsakh delegates have returned from Yerevan quite disappointed. They are clearly aware that Pashinyan clearly lied about many things and did another manipulation, and what he conveyed were very pessimistic remarks, stating in particular that nothing depends on him anymore.
By the way, the newspaper's Artsakh source reports that a new wave of mass rallies in Artsakh is not ruled out to start in the near future.
