Armenia has always openly and publicly stated its position on the dialogue with Turkey, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated at a briefing in Yerevan on Tuesday.

Norwegian Foreign Minister Anniken Huitfeldt was beside him.

According to the minister's assurance, Armenia is interested in making this dialogue a success.

"I am not against having any meeting that can contribute to this," Mirzoyan stressed.

The Armenian Foreign Minister is convinced that the sides must take serious steps to establish diplomatic relations and open borders.

"I am ready for such a meeting, and I hope it will bring tangible results. If it takes place, of course," Mirzoyan concluded.
