The chairman of the Investigative Committee of Russia announced that the theory about the complicity of the special services of Ukraine in the explosion on the Crimean Bridge was confirmed. Alexander Bastrykin informed about this in an interview with RIA Novosti.

"The theory that the planning and organization of the terrorist operation on the Crimean Bridge was carried out by the Ukrainian special services has been confirmed," Bastrykin said.

The head of the Russian Investigative Committee added that 8 of the 12 accomplices in this crime were arrested. According to Bastrykin, they are Russian, Ukrainian, Georgian, and Armenian citizens.

"Among them there are people who ensured the transit of various goods to the territory of the Russian Federation in order to continue the further travel of the mine-laden truck across the state border," he explained.

Also, Bastrykin informed that investigative operations have already been carried out with the arrestees.

"Technical examinations are being conducted on the installation of the explosive device and the mechanism of its activation," added the head of the Russian Investigative Committee.
