Iranian Foreign Minister Hossein Amir Abdollahian said Tehran would impose retaliatory sanctions against the EU, including 15 individuals and four organizations, ISNA news agency reported.

The foreign minister said on the sidelines that at least four institutions and 15 Western officials who played a role in imposing anti-Iranian sanctions will be added to Iran's sanctions list in a few hours, he said. According to the agency, details will be announced Wednesday by the Foreign Ministry.

Earlier, it was reported that the European Commission will bring a draft of new sanctions against Iran for allegedly supplying Russia with drones to the European Union (EU) summit on Oct. 20-21 for discussion.
