Azerbaijan is hindering the implementation of the search operations until this moment, Aram Torosyan, the spokesman of the Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Armenia, told the RFE/RL Armenian Service about this, when asked whether it is known when the search operations for the missing Armenians will begin.

Torosyan said that the Armenian government, the MOD, with the engagement of mediators and international partners, are carrying out daily work in this regard.

"Some preliminary agreements have been reached with the Azerbaijani side in this connection. We should also record that until this moment, the Azerbaijani side is hindering the implementation of search operations in the occupied territories of Armenia," said Torosyan.

According to the latest data, 29 Armenians have gone missing as a result of Azerbaijan's military aggression on September 13.
