Russian Armenian businessman and philanthropist wrote on Facebook that the political developments unfolding around Armenia and Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh), the escalating situation surrounding the solution of the Artsakh problem, on which the destinies of both Armenia and the Armenian world depend—without exaggeration—concern him greatly.

"I realize that there is no time for long thinking, and in this situation I have no other way than to stand with the people of Artsakh and take my share of responsibility for the future of Artsakh. (…). At the beginning of November, I will officially assume the position of Minister of State of Artsakh, and at that time I will present our strategic goals, priority issues to be resolved, as well as inform about the first steps to be taken," Vardanyan added, in particular.

Earlier, Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan informed that he had offered Ruben Vardanyan to assume the position of Minister of State of Artsakh.
