The presidents of Turkey and Azerbaijan have cut a red ribbon on Thursday, marking the official opening of an international airport in the occupied territory of Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh).
Recep Tayyip Erdogan and Ilham Aliyev inspected the area of the Zangilan (Kovsakan) airport, which was built in one and a half years, and with the participation of Turkish companies, Anadolu Agency reported.
Also, the symbolic keys of this airport were handed to the presidents.
