A total of 201 bodies have been identified of the servicemen who died as a result of the September military aggression by Azerbaijan. The health minister of Armenia, Anahit Avanesyan, told reporters about this on Thursday.

She assured that there are no unidentified bodies of the Armenian casualties.

The minister informed that there are still identified body parts of servicemen who died during the 44-day Artsakh (Nagorno-Karabakh) war in the fall of 2020, which have not yet been buried. But the official did not provide a specific number.

Avanesyan noted that body parts of those killed in the 44-day war were examined twice in the Netherlands.

"The results of the first and second examinations have already been received. But there are body parts that have been impossible to identify in the Netherlands," she added.

The health minister admitted that there were cases when the parents of the fallen Armenian servicemen did not agree with the results of the examination.

"The results of more than 60 examinations carried out by us have undergone double, triple examination abroad. The same results were obtained for all of them," said Anahit Avanesyan.
