On the fourth day of the IRGC military exercises in the Araks region on the border with Azerbaijan, the artillery of the Army destroyed pre-planned targets, Mehr reports.
During this phase, 122-, 130- and 155-mm artillery as well as rocket-propelled grenades and guided missiles equipped with smart bullets were practiced.
The IRGC Army's armored unit, consisting of T-72 tanks and BMP-2s, then destroyed targets by performing an encirclement maneuver using smart point-blank ammunition.
The tanks, equipped with advanced fire control systems, can hit targets up to 4 kilometers away.
On the next stage of the fourth day of the exercise, Cobra and Mi-17 attack helicopters were able to successfully destroy predetermined targets.
