European Union started deploying the monitoring mission on the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan on Thursday, RIA Novosti news agency quotes Josep Borrell, head of EU diplomacy, speaking to reporters in Brussels.
The deployment of this mission has started today, Borrell said. He also said he intends to inform European leaders of the decision on the mission taken at a meeting of EU foreign ministers on October 17.
