Governor Robert Ghukasyan of Armenia’s Syunik Province on a working visit to France.

The Regional Council of the Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region of France has approved, by voting during the plenary session, the program of allocating €300,000 euros to Syunik region.

Syunik provincial hall reports that the aim of this regional mobilization program is to assist Armenia after being subjected to military aggression by Azerbaijan, as well as to intensify cooperation with strategic Syunik Province.

Syunik governor Robert Ghukasyan was also present at the aforesaid voting.

Subsequently, Robert Ghukasyan and president Laurent Wauquiez of the Regional Council of Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes signed the statement on the intention of partnership between Syunik Province and Auvergne-Rhone-Alpes region.
