On Friday, Armenian Deputy Prime Minister Hambardzum Matevosyan received a delegation led by the Chairman of the Sharjah Heritage Institute Abdulaziz Al-Musallam.
Matevosyan's office informed NEWS.am that welcoming the delegation, the Deputy Prime Minister attached importance to the constantly strengthening and development of friendly Armenian-Emirati relations.
Touching upon the cooperation with Sharjah Heritage Institute, Matevosyan stressed the need to expand the existing agenda with new directions of mutual interest. In this context, the sides discussed issues related to the expansion of institutional cooperation in the fields of culture and education, as well as the creation of new platforms for intercultural dialogue.
In his turn, Abdulaziz Al-Musallam presented the Armenian Deputy Prime Minister the launched joint programs in these spheres and expressed confidence to continue them.
The president of the Sharjah Heritage Institute also conveyed Sheikh Sultan bin Muhammad Al-Qasimi's greetings to Matevosyan, confirming his readiness to further deepen bilateral relations.
