The U.S. budget deficit in September 2022 jumped twice to $429.673 billion, according to a report from the U.S. Treasury Department.
The U.S. budget deficit was $429.673 billion in September, twice as much as last year when it was $219.596 billion.
Meanwhile, the actual deficit was much higher than analysts' forecasts, which pointed to the amount of $173.5 billion.
