Armenian third president, chairman of the Republican Party of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan received member of the European Parliament and rapporteur on Armenia Andrey Kovatchev on Saturday.

The RPA office in Yerevan informed NEWS.am that during their meeting, the sides discussed the situation in the region, developments in the settlement of the Armenian-Azerbaijani conflict in the context of Baku's recent aggression, the Artsakh issue, and issues related to Armenia's domestic political agenda.

At the guest's request, Sargsyan presented the RPA's positions on the aforementioned issues.

The former President stressed in particular that the recognition and guarantee of the Artsakh people's right to self-determination should be reflected in the political and legal documents related to this issue.
